nice price deal !!! sr.click (juanjo matos) is an experienced dj from the end of the 90s who started producing electronic music in 2003 and in 2005 co-founded the inoquo netlabel. his minimal techno productions show an experimental spirit who has been able to assimilate many samples and mix them with galloping grooves, making up his unique style. after playing in sonar 2008 and participating in angel molinas wax session 3, the new techno label flatmate music based in barcelona is now releasing his first 12 inch.

supported by sian, loco dice, hot chip/ felix, john digweed, dubfire, todd bodine, derek miller, deepchild, goldfish + der dulz, mihalis safras, orde meikle, heiko laux, ktantin gabbro, toni d! yes, dominik eulberg is one of the few techno artists from germany who composes music out of a whole range of classical elements such as melodies, analogue synth sounds and a worthy treasure of self made elements. in dominik s world there is still place for romance and dreams opposed to the hard realism of the techno world and the music made on demand. so we were happy when we found in rodriquez jr a remixer who was able to connect dominik s world with his own world, keeping the gentle touch of the original but adding a quirky and lively element to it. if there is something like a perfect remix, this might be it!

the title track (bloody hands) has a unique futuristic sparkle with plenty of funk and loads of interesting effects, characteristic of horrevorts productions. the lead and bassline build up tension throughout the track, subtly climaxing after 5 minutes with some guaranteed hands in the air action!
on the b-side we find >nymph<. this funky deep techey track slots perfectly into those hypnotizing moments of the night. quality production! the b2 is remixed by marc marzenit who captured the subtlety of >bloody hands< perfectly with his monster remix. this monster has a slightly deeper, more progressive flavor than the original yet maintaining its energy. rumor has it that the remix has been signed to secret cinemas first mixed compilation >welcome to my club< (march 2010). one impressive release from two of todays most promising producers!

some still know very little about t&b artist josefine jinder, so let us introduce her to you. in august 2008 we saw the debut ep of little jinder, >polyhedron<, and soon after in october 08 we gave >polyhedron< the remix treatment with loads of t&b producers. in june 09, after countless gigs and production work, jinder returned to the t&b catalog with >youth blood< on their scion comp. the tune was such a hit t&b had no other choice but to give this epic blood sucker disco house anthem the same remixing treatment as >polyhedron<. as usual, t&b remixes are all over the board from a joker-esque dubstep remix by 12th planet & flinch, a monster mash heavy bass electro remix from sharkslayer to a remix by tomas andersson, who graces this 12 inch with a smooth rolling disco remix straight from the dub factory. this is one of many releases to come from jinder, this is her first single in support of her full length record to come out in 2010. definitely an artist to watch.

encer kincy was giant in chicagos house music revival - part of the second wave of younger djs and producers that took the music of the early 1980s, rubbed it up and dropped it in places like 500 west cermak, medusa’s and the vault. a lot of people who are now superstars of the scene - mark farina, sneak, derrick carter, and dozens of others - were a part of that movement, too. spencer released a number of tracks on relief, planet e, cajual, peace frog - labels representing the classics of that era - and he usually recorded under the name gemini. as a dj, he operated in his own space - i’m sure he could play for a room, and sometimes did, but the unrestrained madness of a spencer kincy dj set had to be heard over several hours to appreciate. he could blend a sleazy disco track into hard acid, downtempo into a punishing armani track, jazz into detroit techno and so on. it wasn’t technically brilliant or tricky, but the selection was exquisite. a number of figures from his era still list him as an influence. his productions, viewed as a whole, are so much like his sets: going softer than many dared to go, and going much harder than just about any dared to go. simple jack tracks! respected by the standards of the industry of the time, and you certainly couldn’t go anywhere in chicago without hearing derrick, sneak, mark, lego, gene, jevon, diz, johnny or the other djs beating them. and so many of them have a timelessness - a little piece of eternity stuck like some bit of wax between the grooves

yore starts the new year off on the good foot with a four-tracker from the dutch duo morning factory thats remarkably accomplished for a first release. expertly manning the controls are two gentlemen from the netherlands, jean-pierre van der leeuw and jozef lemmens, who clearly produce a high-octane electronic body music thats timeless and fresh.

the affectionately titled ep, >der kleine elefant<, intends to tell its listener the story about a tiny elephant who is on a huge journey through mountains, deserts, seas and forests where he hunts to fi nd food and water for survival. in each encounter through the magical land, the small animal meets mystical creatures and watches in amazement at the stunning landscapes he finds himself wandering through. each track sounds like a modern day nursery rhyme and our elephant, the hero.
